Switchgear Replacement Project

Roy Water Conservancy District

RECEIPT OF BIDS: Sealed bids will be accepted at the Office of Roy Water Conservancy District, 5440 South Freeway Park Drive, Riverdale, Utah until September 4th, 2025 10:00 am, for the Switchgear Replacement Project for Roy Water Conservancy District.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work consists of replacement of aging equipment with owner furnished Switchgear as provided on the contract documents and other miscellaneous electrical upgrades. The work is to be provided complete and in accordance with the Contract Documents and Project Specifications

LOCATION OF WORK: The work is located within the District Pump house of Roy Water Conservancy District near the district office address above.

MANDATORY PRE-BID WALK: A mandatory pre-bid project walk will be held at the Office of Roy Water Conservancy District, 5440 South Freeway Park Drive, Riverdale, Utah on Tuesday August 19th at 10:00 AM. Meet in the district office. The District reserves the right to disqualify any and all bidders that are not in attendance at the pre-bid meeting. There are numerous existing conditions that are not easily identified on the drawings and will be discussed and disclosed during this meeting.

COMPLETION OF WORK: The Work is to begin on October 16, 2025. The Work must be completed on or before December 31, 2025.

OPENING OF BIDS: Bids will be publicly opened on September 4th, 2025, at 10:00 am at the aforementioned office of Roy Water Conservancy District.

OBTAINING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: Bidding Documents are available online at www.wasatchcivil.com under Bid Packages.

SECURITY: Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check or bid bond in the amount of five percent of the total bid price, made payable to Roy Water Conservancy District as guarantee that the bidder, if his bid is accepted, will promptly execute the Contract, secure payment of Worker’s Compensation insurance and furnish a satisfactory, faithful performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent of the contract price and a payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent of the contract price.

PROJECT ADMINISTRATION: All questions relative to this project prior to opening of bids, shall be directed to the Project Engineer (Ryan Pack at SKM Engineering, LLC. ryan.pack@skmeng.com). It shall be understood, however, that no specification interpretations will be made by telephone, nor will any “or equal” products be considered for approval prior to award of contract. Any questions regarding this project shall be submitted via e-mail by 6:00 PM Wednesday August 27th for consideration in addenda. Any questions received after this date will not be answered.

OWNER’S RIGHTS RESERVED: Roy Water Conservancy District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in a bid, and to make awards in the interest of the Owner.
