RECEIPT OF BIDS: Sealed bids will be accepted at the Office of the Roy City Public Works Office Building, 2626 West 5525 South, Roy City, Utah, 84067, until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, for the 4900 South 3100 West Storm Drain Project for Roy City Corporation.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work consists of approximately 375 feet of 12” diameter to 18” diameter storm drains with catch basins and connections to existing drains.

LOCATION OF WORK: The work is located near 4900 South 3100 West Street.

COMPLETION OF WORK:  All work specified in the contract documents shall be completed within 30 days following the Notice to Proceed.

OPENING OF BIDS: Bids will be publicly opened at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at the Roy City Public Works Office Building.

CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: Contract Documents, provided by Wasatch Civil Consulting Engineering, may be purchased and downloaded online for a non-refundable fee of $30.00 at https://www.wasatchcivil.com.

BID SECURITY: Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of five percent of the total bid price, made payable to Roy City Corporation as a guarantee that the bidder, if selected, will comply with Contract requirements. 

PROJECT ADMINISTRATION: All questions relative to this project prior to the opening of bids shall be directed to the Project Engineer.

OWNER’S RIGHTS RESERVED: Roy City Corporation reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in a bid, and to make awards in the interest of the City.

The following change is hereby made to the Contract Documents for the above-referenced project:

1. Add the following to the bid documents - Bid Form Signature Page – This form was inadvertently left out of the bid book.

This addendum is hereby attached to and made part of the Contract Documents, and each Bidder shall acknowledge receipt of this addendum in his bid.
