4400 South Roundabout Concrete Pavement Project
The work consists of replacing the pavement at an existing roundabout intersection. Approximately 2,460 square yards of existing asphalt pavement will be removed and replaced with 8-inch-thick concrete pavement.
RECEIPT OF BIDS: Sealed bids will be accepted at the Office of the Roy City Public Works Office Building, 2626 West 5525 South, Roy City, Utah, 84067, until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2026, for the 4400 South Roundabout Concrete Pavement Project for Roy City Corporation.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work consists of replacing the pavement at an existing roundabout intersection. Approximately 2,460 square yards of existing asphalt pavement will be removed and replaced with 8-inch-thick concrete pavement.
LOCATION OF WORK: The work is located at the intersection of 4400 South and Airport Road (1600 West), Roy, Utah.
COMPLETION OF WORK: All work specified in the contract documents shall be completed by May 15, 2026.
OPENING OF BIDS: Bids will be publicly opened at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at the Roy City Public Works Office Building.
CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: Contract Documents, provided by Wasatch Civil Consulting Engineering, may be purchased and downloaded online for a non-refundable fee of $30.00 at https://www.wasatchcivil.com.
BID SECURITY: Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check, or bid bond in the amount of five percent of the total bid price, made payable to Roy City Corporation as a guarantee that the bidder, if his bid is accepted, will promptly execute the contract, secure payment of Worker’s Compensation insurance and furnish a satisfactory, faithful performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent of the contract price and a payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent of the contract price.
PROJECT ADMINISTRATION: All questions relative to this project prior to the opening of bids shall be directed to the Project Engineer.
OWNER’S RIGHTS RESERVED: Roy City Corporation reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in a bid, and to make awards in the interest of the City.

Add the following to the bid documents – Measurement & Payment – This form was inadvertently left out of the bid book.
This addendum is hereby attached to and made part of the Contract Documents, and each Bidder shall acknowledge receipt of this addendum in his bid.
