RECEIPT OF BIDS: Sealed bids will be accepted at the Roy City Public Works Building, 2626 West 5525 South, Roy City, Utah, 84067, until 2:00 p.m. on June 11, 2026, for the 2026 Street Maintenance Project for Roy City.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work consists of furnishing and installing approximately 3,100 tons of asphalt leveling course, 36,500 square yards of chip seal with fog coat, and 500 square yards of asphalt pavement widening. The work includes the reconstruction of manholes, valve boxes, and storm drain boxes.
LOCATION OF WORK: The work is at various locations in Roy City, Utah.
COMPLETION OF WORK: Initial contract work shall be completed by September 15, 2026. The contract may be extended for two additional years if agreed to by the contractor and Roy City. Additional details are provided in the Contract Documents.
OPENING OF BIDS: Bids will be publicly opened at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at the aforementioned office of the Roy City Public Works Building.
OBTAINING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: Bidding documents may be obtained upon application and payment of a $30.00 non-refundable fee at the office of Wasatch Civil Consulting Engineering, 1150 South Depot Drive, Suite 225, Ogden, Utah 84404, 801-775-9191. Bid documents may also be obtained online at https://www.wasatchcivil.com.
BID SECURITY: Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of five percent of the total bid price, made payable to Roy City Corporation as a guarantee that the bidder, if his bid is accepted, will promptly execute the contract and meet contract requirements for insurance and bonds.
PROJECT ADMINISTRATION: All questions relative to this project prior to the opening of bids shall be directed to the Project Engineer.
OWNER'S RIGHTS RESERVED: Roy City Corporation reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in a bid, and to make awards in the interest of the City.
