RECEIPT OF BIDS: Sealed bids will be accepted at the Office of Roy City Public Works Building, 2626 West 5525 South, Roy City, Utah, 84067, until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, 2026, for the 2026 Concrete Maintenance Project for Roy City Corporation.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work consists of constructing new and replacement concrete curbs & gutters, sidewalks, and pedestrian ramps. The annual project budget is expected to be approximately $200,000.
LOCATION OF WORK: The work is located throughout Roy City.
COMPLETION OF WORK: All work shall be completed by June 30, 2027. The Contract may be renewed annually for two additional years if agreed upon by both the Contractor and the City.
OPENING OF BIDS: Bids will be publicly opened at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at the Roy City Public Works Office Building.
OBTAINING BIDDING DOCUMENTS: Bidding documents may be obtained upon application and payment of a $30.00 non-refundable fee at the office of Wasatch Civil Consulting Engineering, 1150 South Depot Drive, Suite 225, Ogden, Utah 84404, 801-775-9191. Bid documents may also be obtained online at https://www.wasatchcivil.com.
BID SECURITY: Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in the amount of five percent of the total bid price, made payable to Roy City Corporation as a guarantee that the bidder, if his bid is accepted, will promptly execute the Contract and meet requirements for insurance and bonds.
PROJECT ADMINISTRATION: All questions relating to this project before the opening of bids shall be directed to the Project Engineer.
OWNER'S RIGHTS RESERVED: Roy City Corporation reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities, and to make awards in the interest of the City.
